60’s Music Legend Bobby Vee Died From Alzheimer’s Disease on Monday

Bobby Vee had more than 38 top 100 hits from 1959 to 1970 such as “Take Good Care Of My Baby”, “Run To Him” and “Rubber Ball”.

His career started with a sad beginning – as a replacement band (The Shadows) for Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper – who were killed in a plane crash in Minnesota on February 3rd, 1959.

Bobby Vee died on Monday,  after a  5 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
